What is a Trade Idea?
A trade idea is an expert recommendation that suggests a specific opportunity to buy or sell a security—like a stock, index, or commodity—under certain conditions.
It typically includes:
✅ What to trade (e.g., NIFTY 29 JAN 27000 Call)
✅ Direction (Buy or Sell)
✅ Entry Price (Market or Limit price)
✅ Target and Stop Loss (Expected profit and risk levels)
✅ Validity (How long the idea is active)
The Problem
Loss of money for users due to delayed exits communication on telegram.
When MarketWolf launched, expert trade ideas were only shared on Telegram. Users missed or delayed exit signals, leading to confusion, losses, and broken trust.
Exit notifications arrived too late or went unnoticed, causing users to miss optimal trade exits. We needed a smarter, integrated solution to restore trust and guide users smoothly through their trades.
The Vision
To build a trade recommendation engine.
We wanted MarketWolf users to trade with confidence ,feeling like a pro trader is right beside them, guiding every move by surfacing only the most relevant, high-probability trades tailored to their capital, market sentiment, and comfort with risk.
My Role
I led user research, created the complete solution and prototype, and helped with QA testing until go-live.

Gathering User Complaints
Insight 1
Timing is everything in trading. If you miss the moment, you miss the money.
Through user feedback and complaints, we learned that trading decisions are extremely time sensitive. Delays in receiving exit alerts or updates often resulted in significant losses. Many users reported that by the time they saw a signal on Telegram, the market had already moved against them. This time lag created frustration and anxiety, making them hesitant to trust future recommendations.
Insight 2
Users expect the app to guide them from start to finish.
We discovered that users don’t want to juggle multiple channels to complete a single trade journey. They expect one integrated experience from getting a recommendation, understanding the rationale, executing the order, to receiving exit alerts and booking profits all in one place. The disjointed process of checking Telegram for signals and then switching to the app to trade felt clumsy and unprofessional
Insight 3
Manual follow-ups on Telegram weren’t scalable.
As more users joined, the team struggled to manage timely updates, answer questions, and send reminders manually on Telegram groups. This led to inconsistent communication, delays in exits, and a lack of professional experience. It became clear that relying on manual processes would not scale with a growing user base and would continue to impact trust and performance.
